Biratnagar (Nepali: बिराटनगर) is a Sub-Metropolitan City located in southeast Nepal, the country's second largest afterKathmandu with total area of 58.48 km2 and population around 201,125 with an additional half a million people living in its suburbs, thus making its total population to over 700,000.
