08h00: After breakfast this morning, we start our seat-in-coach tour of Hanoi including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), the national leader whose memory is honored here. We will also visit The House on stilts; see the distinctive One Pillar pagoda.
Moving out to visit the Temple of Literature, where Vietnam’s first university was established here in 1076.
Continue to visit The Thang Long Imperial Citadel, World Heritage site . which was built in the 11th century by the Ly Viet Dynasty, marking the independence of the Dai Viet.
12h00: Lunch at the local restaurant.
13h00: After lunch, the car will drop you at the hotel.
Or you will be transferred to the complex of the Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi and you will start a walking tour of Hanoi Old Quarter.
From Hoan Kiem Lake, you are advised to visit the complex of Hoan Kiem Lake including Ngoc Son Temple (Jade), But Thap Tower (Pen- shaped tower), Dai Nghien (Ink Stand), the Red- painted wooden The Huc Bridge.
Then you may shop at the Old Quarter (36 ancient wards & streets) and Dong Xuan market or you may take a a green car or cyclo ride tour (at your own expense) around the Old Quarter to experience the exciting local daily life of Hanoians.
Your choice in evening is Water puppetry performance at Thang Long Theatre.
