Jetstar Pacific opens HCM city – Bangkok route

The maiden flight of a new Jetstar Pacific air route connecting HCM city to Bangkok by Airbus A320 with 180 economy seats lifted off from HCM City on December 10 at 13.05 and returned safely the same day.

The airline has announced plans to operate the route daily from March 29, 2015 with flight number BL661 departing HCM city at 13.05 and number BL662 returning at 15.20. Every Thursday the flight from HCM city will depart five minutes earlier at 13.00.

The new route has been aimed at meeting the increased demand of passengers and creating a closer link among Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore, Le Hong Ha, Jetstar Pacific director general, said.

To date, more than 24,000 passengers have booked tickets for the flight, Ha added.
