Introduction

This province is on high land on the west – north of Vietnam and is 511 km from Hanoi via national highway No. 6. The landscape is beautiful and made up of high mountain ranges stretching from the northwest to the southeast with narrow valleys, beautiful rivers and springs completing the natural beauty of the place.

Its terrain is mainly on high mountainous, sloping hill areas and some plateau, interposing with narrow and deep valleys. River systems in the land are massive and strong water – current creating numerous waterfalls and whirlpools.

Besides of natural charming beauty, in the past Lai Chau is famous for the victory of Vietnam army at Dien Bien Phu, military base of French colonists in 1954, that sounding over the globe. Still remain here is the life, culture of primeval villages of ethnic communities. Some of minorities are proud of its owned letter, regulation while others may attractive with encounter songs, umbrella dance, poems and colorful dresses.

Sin Ho District with its rustic beauty is located tens of kilometers from the city of Lai Chau. Special steep mountain pass with mountain ranges. Sin Ho is also an ideal destination for many visitors.
